Trying to tweet a quote from a New York Times story went very, very wrong for the Bleacher Report NBA account Wednesday. The key part of the since-deleted tweet in question is seen above; here’s a screencap of the whole tweet, and the 152 retweets and 790 likes it had shortly after posting.

A Bleacher Report NBA tweet.

Hoffman, the New York Times writer tagged in the tweet, pointed out that this Bleacher Report tweet was actually a quote from a piece on Tatum from his colleague Sopan Deb, that it didn’t include a link to that piece, and that it spelled Tatum’s name wrong.

Deb also called this out:

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the tweet?
