What Deion Sanders wants, he gets.
Now, not a spot in the College Football Playoff and perhaps not the Dallas Cowboys head coaching job, but other than that, he usually does. And when the Colorado Buffaloes head coach was tuned in for the Denver Nuggets-Dallas Mavericks game in Dallas, he spotted Greg Anthony sporting a blazer that he just had to have.
I need that Blazer that @GregAnthony50 has on tonight on @NBAonTNT

Not just any blazer, mind you, but the one Anthony was sporting.
Anthony could’ve hooked Sanders up with a referral code, maybe even a coupon to purchase the blazer he was wearing.
But instead, he went one step better.
Your son is here, I will leave it with him! 😂 https://t.co/GKBlRL4DtY

In a spontaneous moment captured live on TNT’s broadcast, Anthony didn’t just pass along a suggestion — he arranged to get the jacket to Sanders through intermediaries, including Sanders’ son, Shedeur, who just happened to be at the game.

Shedeur quickly found himself becoming part of the storyline in a game where the Mavericks were getting pummeled.
Shedeur, likely one of the top picks in this April’s NFL Draft, was courtside for the Nuggets’ 118-99 drubbing of Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson and the Mavs. So Anthony made the call to leave the jacket with Sanders’ son, knowing it’d be able to reach his father that way.
Jared Greenberg went over to Shedeur — jacket in hand — and the whole interaction was gold.
If the game had been a back-and-forth contest, maybe TNT wouldn’t have made room for a 30-second clip that quickly went viral. But when the action on the court is lacking, and you have a good storyline unfolding with announcers and a fan, you lean into it.
And that’s exactly what Anthony, Greenberg and Ian Eagle did.
“[Dwight] Powell is bleeding, and apparently, Jared is now taking your jacket,” said the bird.
“I think he’s going to go give it to Shedeur to give it to his dad,” added Anthony.
“He’s giving it to Shedeur,” Eagle said while channeling his inner Kevin Harlan. “Shedeur is very perplexed. Jared is now explaining to him, ‘Your dad tweeted that he’s going to want that jacket.’ Jared is saying, ‘Take the jacket.’ Shedeur is saying, ‘For real?’ He said, ‘Yes, this is your jacket now.’ ‘OK, I got you.’ ‘You’re serious?’ ‘Yes.’ ‘Thank you.'”

That happened.
Now, Shedeur is responsible for ensuring that the blazer returns to his father in one piece.
