The voice of the Milwaukee Brewers is also the lead announcer of the MLB postseason on TBS. And suffice it to say Brian Anderson has been one of the highlights this October.
While Fox has handled the National League Division and Championship series, TNT Sports has handled the American League, with Anderson at the forefront. With Bob Costas the subject of criticism, the spotlight has been focused elsewhere, but Anderson will have the mic for the ALCS between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians.

And after calling Game 1 of the ALCS on Monday night, TNT Sports announced that it inked a multi-year extension with the 53-year-old Anderson, which the company’s released called “one of the most versatile broadcasters in sports.”

The extension will extend Anderson’s work with TNT Sports beyond two decades. Having joined in 2008 to commentate baseball for the MLB on TBS, Anderson hasn’t missed a beat as the face of its baseball operation.
He’s in the midst of calling his ninth League Championship Series.
Additionally, Anderson lends his voice to the NBA on TNT regular season and playoffs (though TNT will be losing those rights after the 2024-25 season), college basketball (including TNT Sports’ and CBS Sports’ joint coverage of the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament) and the popular golf series — The Match.
According to the release, Anderson will also be a key member of TNT Sports’ inaugural U.S. coverage of Roland-Garros (The French Open) starting in 2025.

I grew up playing every sport I cover and am grateful TNT Sports has given me the opportunity to live out my dream behind the microphone for such amazing events.”
And with the extension signed, it certainly seems like Anderson’s presence will continue to be a staple in some of the biggest sporting moments for years to come.
