Tom Hannifan and Matt Rehwoldt, who have been the voices of TNA Wrestling for more than three years, will continue in their respective roles going forward.

Jon Alba of The Takedown reported on Monday that Hannifan and Rehwoldt had both signed contract extensions with the promotion.

“Per TNA President Carlos Silva, both men will be sticking around,” Alba wrote. “Silva told The Takedown on SI in a new interview to be dropped later this week that the company recently extended Hannifan and Rehwoldt’s contracts. The length of the renewals is unclear. He also noted McKenzie Mitchell will remain in her role as the promotion’s ring announcer.”

Alba added that “The Takedown on SI reached out to both Hannifan and Rehwoldt, who both respectfully declined to add any additional details.”

Hannifan joined TNA (then known as Impact Wrestling) in 2022, debuting at the Hard to Kill event in January of that year. From 2012 to 2021, he worked as an announcer in WWE under the name Tom Phillips. Rehwoldt, meanwhile, joined TNA/Impact Wrestling in 2021 as a wrestler. He’d previously worked in WWE as both a wrestler and announcer under the name Aiden English. In early 2022, he also moved into the broadcast booth, forming a partnership with Hannifan.
