You know what they say about assuming something in advance. To nicely put it, it’s usually not bound to happen. The person tweeting for the Wisconsin men’s basketball team should never assume anything especially after its season opening game against Western Illinois. The Badgers lost to Western Illinois 69-67. But that didn’t stop the Wisconsin basketball Twitter account from issuing a scheduled tweet:

Of course, the reaction was swift:

The lesson? Never assume. Not even if it’s against the team that finished last in its league.
