Celtics radio broadcasters Sean Grande and Cedric Maxwell paid tribute to Stuart Scott using his catchphrases during the course of their home game against the Hornets. Grande dropped “boo-yah” for a Celtics three and Maxwell chimed in echoing even more of Scott’s trademarks.
Grande and Maxwell are actively encouraging other NBA broadcast crews around the country to follow suit in tributes to Scott. NBA broadcasters paying tribute to Scott in such a way would be a fantastic way to honor Scott and his legacy as a sportscaster and we’d encourage others around the league to join the Celtics broadcast team in remembering the influential SportsCenter anchor.
