Steve Spurrier bid one last farewell to South Carolina Gamecocks fans before heading north to Michigan for Saturday’s edition of College GameDay. On Thursday, Spurrier called into Carolina Calls, the weekly South Carolina coach’s radio show, as Steve from Columbia and had some words for the fans that had supported him for years.

Well done. I wonder if Spurrier is going to go the Mack Brown route and get into TV full-time with his coaching career currently on hiatus.
