The Packers are blowing out the Vikings in another Thursday Night Football stinker. NFL Network’s Rich Eisen apparently had enough of seeing his fellow media colleagues and football fans blasting the franchise on Twitter. This is a pretty interesting tweet…
Enjoying the bevy of TNF snark from colleagues who would never tweet the snark if their networks had gotten TNF. And their networks tried.
— Rich Eisen (@richeisen) October 3, 2014
While what Eisen says it’s very true, it does not hide these facts…
1) CBS and NFL Network currently air Thursday Night Football.
2) Thursday Night Football has sucked this year.
So here we are. In the end does it really matter? People will still blindly watch, the NFL will still get its billions, and the machine will keep on rolling. But if we’re going to be subjected to such crappy games, we should at least be able to make fun of them in peace.
