Pete Rose was late to the Fox Sports studios on Tuesday because he was stuck in traffic. Rose left a voicemail for the fine people of Fox while in his traffic jam, and naturally, they played it on the air at the beginning of their ALCS Game 4 pregame coverage.

Poor Pete Rose. The “Rose as an analyst” experiment hasn’t exactly been a success, but credit Fox for sticking with him and having some fun with the situation.
