A couple of years ago, Fox Sports Florida reporter Kelly Nash posted a selfie of her posing on top of the Green Monster…with a batting practice baseball flying at her head.

Anyway, Nash has been hired by MLB Network, and filmed a tongue in cheek welcome video calling back to the near-disastrous selfie.

Nash will make her on-air debut at MLB Network this Wednesday on the newsdesk during Spring Training games. She’ll serve as an on-air host for the network during the regular season.
