Keith Law’s Twitter suspension lasted five days as he returned to the social media medium this morning.  He did so in quite the unique way – by tweeting a Latin phrase.

The phrase, which translates to “and yet it moves” is famous for allegedly being said by Galileo Galilei while maintaining the earth moved around the sun in spite of protestations to the contrary.  Of course, Law was suspended after engaging fellow ESPN analyst Curt Schilling in a debate about evolution.

Let’s mark this occasion for being the first time an ESPN suspension has been related to the scientific advances of The Renaissance.  Also, as the best “return from suspension” tweet in the history of ESPN Twitter suspensions.
