With the beginning of the NFL season and the MLB playoffs soon to begin, there will be plenty of Joe Buck on our television screens, making it prime season for his detractors and those who perceive bias and hatred toward their favorite teams from Fox’s lead play-by-play man.

Though this surely happens every year, Buck was the target of Kansas City Royals fans last season who felt his commentary was far too slanted toward the San Francisco Giants during the World Series. So whether it’s gearing up for that crowd again, or new fanbases that will be tuning in for this year’s MLB postseason, such as those for the Cubs, Mets and Blue Jays, Buck is ready. Or at least the producers who write his cue cards feel they’re trying to get him ready.

Buck tweeted that during Sunday’s broadcast of Falcons-Cowboys. Did anyone catch if he happened to go with the suggested ad-lib and troll baseball fans whose teams are about to enter the postseason? Or did he make a joke about that script on-air, despite saying that no words were needed? Did he at least tease Cubs fans a little bit, since they will surely think he’s biased against them, given his connection to their rival St. Louis Cardinals?

At least Buck is having some fun with this. It has to get very old to hear repeatedly during the MLB playoffs.
