There was some signing day drama in Columbus surrounding the reigning national champions.  Ohio State secured the commitment of highly touted RB Mike Weber from Cass Tech in Detroit.  Soon after signing day though, Buckeye running backs coach Stan Drayton left for the same position for the Chicago Bears.  Pretty interesting timing, right?  Weber’s high school coach isn’t happy with OSU, saying they misled the recruit over the situation.

New Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh made a late push for Weber and ultimately lost out on the former Michigan commit.  Had Drayton left before signing day, who knows what Weber would have ultimately decided.  But Harbaugh wasn’t about to let this go quietly.  Needless to say there might just be a subtle jab towards his rivals to the south in Harbaugh’s daily dose of Twitter wisdom…

If Jim Harbaugh is really subtweeting Urban Meyer before he even takes the field as coach of the maize and blue for the first time, the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry is about to get really good once again.
