Gregg Popovich’s in-game interviews have become the stuff of legend. And with the curtain somewhat pulled back on Pop and his infamous lack of loquaciousness towards the questions of sideline reporters, we might see a new side of him this season.
During the season opener tonight, TNT’s David Aldridge couldn’t even make it through his second question without trying to hold back laughter facing Popovich’s icy stare. The coach shared a chuckle and told DA he loved him. This kind of self-awareness from Pop could be a great source of intentional and unintentional comedy throughout the NBA season.
