ESPN NFL analyst Ray Lewis is continuing to spread his wings in his post-playing days, releasing a preview of a new rap single on Instagram. It’s called “Can You Stand The Rain” and it’s… well… it could be a lot better. Lewis’ ESPN career hasn’t turned out the way a lot of media observers might have expected, so who knows, maybe his rap career will rocket him to further stardom. But based off this sample, let’s just say it’s no “Tim McCarver Sings Selections from the Great American Songbook” or Terry Bradshaw’s version of “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry.”
