Our readers spied something interesting on ESPN’s website this evening as ESPN’s Fan Shop was shilling conference champions gear for the Seahawks despite the obvious fact that the Packers to my knowledge are still planning on showing up in Seattle to take on the Seahawks.

A quick tour of ESPN’s website shows the Seahawks aren’t the only team getting the preemptive labeling of a conference champion. Below ads for all four teams.

Somebody get Ad Ops on the horn quick! My guess is someone started this ad campaign at midnight today when it was meant to start midnight tomorrow and after the games were decided and the ads with the two losing teams could have been pulled. Instead ESPN has created a parallel universe in which all four teams have somehow advanced.  On another note, I feel like nobody buys sweatshirts anymore.
