Another day, another hacked Instagram account. Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis is falling on the “I was hacked” excuse to explain away all the trolling he did on Instagram over the weekend. Revis engaged in some fairly profane exchanges with unhappy Patriots fans. About an hour later, he gave us an explanation:
My IG got hacked. No big deal!!!
— Darrelle Revis (@Revis24) April 12, 2015
While this is certainly a flimsy excuse, I suppose we have no way to prove otherwise. If he WAS hacked, though, the hacker got little out of it other than insulting Patriots fans, which doesn’t sound that exciting.
