One of the highlights of the All-Star Game happened before the game when Craig Sager made his return to live television with an interview via satellite with Carmelo Anthony. The interview was much longer than the typical sideline interview and Sager asked some very straight-forward and pertinent questions about the Knicks’ struggles. Sager appeared on the telecast from Orlando and informed viewers that he hoped to return full-time by March 1st if everything went to plan over the next two weeks. Seeing Sager (and his trademark style with a new twist) back on the NBA on TNT was a very welcome sight.
