Before the national title game kicked off, the above photo made the Twitter rounds as one of the great photos in the history of photography. It was tweeted out by ESPN’s Don Van Natta and then shared and re-shared and re-shared. I know what I was thinking when I saw the picture for the first time on my timeline – this is the greatest picture ever. Unfortunately, as pointed out by Deadspin, it turned out to be just a Nike ad as that’s where the original came from. A very cool ad, but it would have been better had it been the real thing.
This isn't do-or-die. It's do or don't. You have to live with it or live without it. #justdoit pic.twitter.com/EbnRzUWYOD

An all-time great picture turning out to be just a Nike ad? Not so scandalous. Phil Knight posing with Urban Meyer after the game? Now that’s another story…
