MLB Network Presents is the network’s newest original feature series, spotlighting a variety of stories throughout the game of baseball. The second edition of MLB Network Presents will air Tuesday, January 20th at 9 PM, and will feature the 1990 Cincinnati Reds and their famous Nasty Boys bullpen trio.

Plenty of interviews from people close to the 1990 Reds will be aired, including Marty Brennaman, Tom Browning, Barry Larkin, Hal McCoy, Paul O’Neill, Lou Piniella, and former Cincinnati mayor Jerry Springer. Naturally, the three Nasty Boys (Norm Charlton, Rob Dibble, Randy Myers) will all also be featured through both interviews and archival footage.

Here’s a teaser clip for the documentary, which looks pretty fantastic.

This looks pretty awesome. 2015 is the 25th anniversary of Cincinnati’s last World Championship, and it’s a better time than ever to revisit the colorful crew that helped pace that club.

MLB Network Presents was a necessary addition to MLB Network’s lineup of original content, and there won’t be a lack of interesting stories to cover. I can’t believe it took this long for a consistent series of baseball documentaries to start getting produced, but I’m not complaining now that we’re finally here.
