Chris Berman and Trent Dilfer were in the middle of a pretty eyebrow-raising exchange regarding the Ray Rice news today during their MNF broadcast of Chargers-Cardinals. This included both commentators selling the soap by complimenting the Ravens for acting “quickly” and “decisively” as well as the “stern message” being sent by the NFL today. At least someone is brave enough to take a stand and protect the shield.
And then there was this moment, when Chris Berman’s thoughts on the importance of the case and what it means to socie… AND THE PUNT IS BLOCKED!
Who knows if that was the moment Chris Berman was going to share something profound with America, alas, it was interrupted by the football.
