It’s just the first week of the 2015 college football season and we already have a nominee for best ending of the year. BYU’s Hail Mary 42 yard TD pass from quarterback Tanner Magnum to Mitch Matthews on the last play of the game led the Cougars to a 33-28 win over Nebraska in Lincoln.
Sean McDonough had a great call of the TD on ABC.
As you’d expect, the call on the Cougar IMG Sports Network by Greg Wrubell (“HE GOT IT! HE GOT IT! HE GOT IT!”) takes the play to another level.
Certainly one of the most exciting plays you’ll see this year or any other year. Wrubell’s voice going up 40 octaves certainly rivals anything NBC Olympics swimming analyst Rowdy Gaines could achieve.
