Today is April 1st, which means awful, horrible people will spend the day plotting to trick you into believing something that isn’t true. April Fool’s Day is a lot like the Slam Dunk Contest. We’ve all seen it a million times before and there’s very little original or creative or funny that you can do.
But don’t let that stop Bruce Irvin of the Seattle Seahawks from attempting the worst April Fool’s Day joke of 2015. Irvin thought an April Fool’s “joke” about him drinking and driving would be worth a few yuks. Take it away, Bruce…
Wait for it… wait for it…
How many of yall thought I was serious ?! Haha April fools!!!

Ummm…

After catching some flak over his joke fell flat, Irvin channeled his inner Aaron Rodgers and told people to relax…
Ok it was a joke didn't meant to disrespect anybody. Damn relax

Who in their right mind thinks to themselves, “you know what people really find funny – DRINKING AND DRIVING.” That’s always guaranteed to get people rolling on the floor, right?
Good grief. For the rest of you pranksters, a quick guide on what not to joke about on April Fool’s…
1) I’ve committed a crime.
2) I’m leaving my family.
3) I’m dying of some kind of terminal illness.
4) I’m leaving America to join ISIS.
Pretty much everything else should be fair game as a mildly annoying April Fool’s joke.
