You’ll get to hear those unexpected words on Saturday, August 29, the weekend before the FBS college football season gets underway.
It’s true: Before the FBS season starts with Michigan-Utah and several other televised games on Sept. 3, the FCS gets a stand-alone game on a late-August Saturday, and Brent Musburger will be there to call it with Jesse Palmer.
University of Montana head coach Bob Stitt shared the news:
Just got off the phone with Brent Musburger and he confirmed that he'll be calling our NDSU game along with @JessePalmerABC! #varsity

Musburger grew up in Billings, Montana, and maintains a home in the state with wife Arlene. This will be a special day for him.
Now, if only he could call a College Football Playoff semifinal…
