And now we can add Dick Vitale to the list of ESPN folks Bill Simmons has called out on Twitter. This time The Sports Guy sent a more subtle shot across the bow at Vitale defending disgraced Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim.

Ever since Simmons got away with calling Mike & Mike “absolute garbage” and saying he had no respect for the show, you can say he’s been emboldened in his ability to speak out and air his differences with his colleagues. Even though this tweet is rather innocuous in comparison, Vitale is one of the untouchables at ESPN. If anything, it’ll just sew greater expectations that Simmons is on his way out of Bristol.
