Baseball Hall of Famer and greatest American philosopher who ever lived, Yogi Berra, passed away earlier today at the age of 90.  Berra was one of the all-time great catchers to play the game and built up a resume that will likely never be matched.  But beyond his life on the diamond, his wit and wisdom will live on throughout the generations.

Given some of Berra’s iconic sayings, maybe it’s fitting that there would be a humorous element to the news.  Today the AP momentarily broke the news that Yankees Hall of Fame catcher Yogi Bear had died.  Being smarter than the average bear, he was an excellent game manager.
