Aaron Rodgers doesn’t have to worry about any quarterback battle during the preseason (nor has he for the past seven years, and likely until the end of his NFL career), so apparently the Green Bay Packers star is showing that he’s ready for a lip sync battle.
Olivia Munn has been posting entertaining videos throughout the summer on her Instagram, many of which have included her NFL quarterback boyfriend joining in whatever fun — or and martial arts training — she’s involved with. Previously, we’ve seen Rodgers in the background during Munn’s sword and martial arts training for her role in next year’s X-Men: Apocalypse. But now, it appears he’s been promoted to a co-starring role.
As Munn’s “Last one…” caption indicates, this was the final chapter in a series of videos posted on Friday and Saturday featuring the actress and quarterback lip-syncing scenes from The Princess Bride and other songs such as Mariah Carey’s “Hero” and Sarah McLachlan’s “I Will Remember You.”
Appearing on Munn’s Instagram certainly makes Rodgers look like more of a fun guy. Somebody may write about how this “humanizes” him too. But maybe there’s a different aim for the couple: Does Rodgers want another championship belt? Perhaps the ones LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen hand out on Spike’s Lip Sync Battle? What if Rodgers and Munn opposed each other on an upcoming show? The possibilities are so intriguing! Well, kind of.
