Pelicans announcer Antonio Daniels vehemently disagreed with a close call where Gary Harris dove toward Zion Williamson's knees.
"You think he looks like he lost 25 pounds? Nobody in New Orleans has abs."
Stephen A. is at least doing the bare minimum.
"You have the same amount of playoff series victories as you do names! And you are talking about me?"
"Dear Athletes media folks gone trash you for fame, get paid then apologize when the check clears."
“I felt what Stephen A. said this morning of Zion was completely inappropriate and lazy."
"This is what happens when officials don't call fouls!"
"It's about how many burgers he's eating and whether or not he's going to be in shape or is he going to keep eating McDonald's and keep having chefs clamoring for him to come to their restaurants."
"His response is telling me he's not ready."
"Something's gotta give, and I hope it's Zion giving more effort and less chewing."
"Maybe he struggles with his weight for reasons that he's still to young to know about because I'm 50-bleeping-four and I still don't know why I struggle with my weight."
"Zion Williamson has not bought into his own career."
“Are we sure Bradley Beal instead of Landry Shamet makes any difference in the Nuggets series?"
"Don’t listen to people saying things just to get views"
"The guy's still just 22 years old, and in the brief time we've seen him, barely a full season's worth of games over three years, he's been historically dominant, historically efficient as a scorer."
"Moses Malone said to me, he said I was fat and lazy. And I started to cry a little bit... and it was a turning point in my career.”
Williamson is out six to eight weeks, which is not great for the Pelicans' upcoming lineup of national TV appearances.
"How do these things keep coming out of your mouth Doug?"
Zion Williamson and the Pelicans and Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers will be prominently featured on TNT this year.
