The average of 18.1 million viewers here was the third-highest ever for any NCAA men's basketball broadcast on cable.

The NCAA Tournament’s “First Four” games set a viewership record, helped by two games airing on TBS rather than truTV

Michigan State-UCLA (which averaged 3.15 million viewers) and Drake-Wichita State (which averaged 2 million viewers) both aired on TBS rather than truTV, which was part of the First Four setting an overall viewership record.
