NBC Sports California reportedly parts ways with Oakland A’s broadcaster Glen Kuiper

Two weeks after using a racial slur on the air, Glen Kuiper is out at NBC Sports California.

"I believe my silence has been misinterpreted."

NBC Sports California suspended Glen Kuiper after his apparent use of a racial slur during the Oakland A's broadcast Friday night.

"I said something that didn't come out quite the way I wanted it to. I just wanted to apologize if it sounded different than I meant it to be said."

Fosse passed away at the age of 74 after a 16-year battle with cancer. He stepped away from the A's broadcast booth in August.

"It’s been a dream of mine to coach for the Sacramento Kings. I feel like I have some unfinished business."

Jones has been at ESPN and ABC since 1990, and will continue to work for those networks in addition to his duties with the Kings.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the camera lens.

Mulder said he had "no clue" what happened, with the team first talking about increasing his workload, then "going in a different direction."
