MLBN is pulling out all the stops to cover the Angels and Yankees Tuesday and Wednesday.
Monday's Mets-Padres game (beginning at 9:30 p.m. ET) will be the first MLB Network Showcase: Clubhouse Edition game this year.
This conversational broadcast will feature E.J. Hradek, Jackie Redmond, Kevin Weekes, and Mike Rupp.
The last MLB Network Showcase: Clubhouse Edition of this year is Thursday, with a Dodgers-Padres broadcast featuring Stephen Nelson, CC Sabathia, Pedro Martinez, and Chris Young. On Friday, Melanie Newman, Elise Menaker and Alanna Rizzo will call MLBN's coverage of the Cubs-White Sox game.
Sabathia, a key force behind this alternate game broadcast idea, will again be involved, but alongside a different pair of former players this time.
