Mike Elko snaps as Texas celebrations disrupt presser

Elko's frustration boiled over after his undefeated season ended with Texas partying in the next room.

Clearly, the school wants to exercise a level of control over the story that doesn't fly with normal journalistic procedures.

Elko made almost identical comments at Duke in 2023, then took the Texas A&M job two weeks later.

"I don't mean to sound like someone else..."

Elko's "our focus is single-handedly on Texas...I meant on Auburn" blunder came back to bite him.

Whoops.

"The low-key target could have also been Steve Sarkisian because now you’re back in the conference with Texas."
