SEC distributes $23 million to each school to mitigate COVID-19 impacts, borrowing against future rights earnings
The SEC has taken out a loan against future rights earnings under the ESPN contract that starts in 2024, but their yearly rights distributions to schools are still expected to increase even following a repayment adjustment.
