It is officially one week until NBC makes its long-awaited return to NBA broadcasting. And now, we have...
"I think you head into the playoffs, and the Western Conference Finals that we have this year, you're going to see potentially a three-man booth."
"That’s the kind of energy Dex and I are excited to bring to the broadcasts—bridging worlds, celebrating greatness and connecting fans through the universal language of competition."
You mean, NBA altcast cohost Dexter Fowler?
After leaving TNT before the start of the season, Jamal Crawford will reportedly land at NBC as one of the network's first NBA hires.
Crawford looks likely to get some MSG work, but a national role still looms.
Stay at TNT for the swan song? Replace his buddy JJ at ESPN? Or help build up one of the new rightsholders?
"Definitely feel like I'll be calling games though."

"Basketball is one of the only sports...where you don’t have to be a professional to judge professionals and get people looking at it like you’re the gospel, and it’s crazy to me."
Crawford will be featured on NBA on TNT Tuesday, NBA TV Center Court, and more.
Crawford played for nine NBA teams from 2000-2020, and dipped his toes into broadcasting last year with alternate feeds for NBA League Pass and with some selected TNT work. He's now taking on a larger TNT role.
