Rick DiPietro and Dave Rothenberg move to the 6 – 10am timeslot, giving ESPN New York a local show that competes directly with WFAN for the first time ever.
"He’s the type of guy who stood atop the mountain and decided to pee on everybody climbing up"
"I’ve got two kids, I’ve got a wife, 17 years I’ll be married to her in September. Guess what? NO MICHAEL KAY!"
"If the Giants win the Super Bowl, I will produce and put out for public consumption a full FDNY-esque calendar. I’ll pose like a pig with an apple in my mouth if we win one if you want."

"It’s been very scary, and at no point do I think I’m all good now. It took a long time to get back, and I didn’t rush because I want it to be right and I want it to last.'"

Francesa's audience has declined since his April return to WFAN, and Kay's has risen to surpass him. If that trend continues, that's a big shakeup in New York sports radio.
“You know I was being facetious” didn’t come across well with Frazier.
Kay topped the New York sports show radio ratings for much of the period with Francesa gone, but the Sports Pope is now back on his throne.
