The mini-scandal began after ESPN writer Andreas Hale gave Wrestlepalooza a "C" grade back in September.
"For a card that promised to have epic moments, it fell a little short of expectation."
Andreas Hale, a veteran combat sports reporter, will join ESPN and will be tasked with covering UFC 300 for his first assignment.
MMA writer Andreas Hale and MLB writer Ryan Fagan are among the known layoffs at this time.
