The decision came as a result of the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike in Hollywood.

ESPYS special honorees include USWNT, Liam Hendriks, Bills training staff, Dr. Richard Lapchick

The USWNT will receive the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage, while Hendriks will receive the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance.
