There's been at least some version of a film room on every ESPN college football Megacast since 2014, with many of those featuring current coaches. But this year's semifinals Megacasts won't have a film room.
ESPN and ABC may now have to do some schedule-shuffling.
One SEC game this week has already been postponed, and others could be, including the CBS game of Alabama-LSU.
The Pac-12 has now had two games canceled before it even kicked off its season.
ABC's three games Saturday averaged 4,940,000 viewers, their best tripleheader performance since Week 9 in 2019.
After an August 11 decision not to play fall football, the Pac-12 has now reversed course.

After Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's campaign put out ads featuring empty stadiums, including Michigan Stadium, President Donald Trump called the Big Ten's postponement "disgraceful." Trump also called Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren Tuesday, saying afterwards that a season resumption this fall was "on the one yard line."
The Big 12 looks set to proceed with nine conference games and one non-conference game per team, plus a championship game. But a lot remains up in the air.
