Saturday saw Paramount+ announce a new multi-part docuseries on United States Men’s National Team star Christian Pulisic.

The PULISIC series will give an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the 25-year-old Pulisic and his rise to American soccer stardom. According to the release, the docuseries is set to begin filming this summer, with the multi-season, multi-episode series premiering this fall during the 2024-2025 season.

Here are some more details:

The series will provide unprecedented access to Pulisic’s life and growing celebrity in Italy as he competes in the UEFA Champions League and Serie A competitions. Cameras will be in tow every step of the way as Pulisic meets the demands of global stardom and prepares for the biggest moment of his career – the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup on home soil.

The series looks back at the life and career of Pulisic, from his beginnings in Hershey, Pennsylvania, to European standout and American hero. From representing the U.S. Men’s National Team this summer to suiting up for AC Milan against the game’s biggest stars in Europe, Pulisic’s stardom is reaching new heights both on and off the pitch.

PULISIC is produced in partnership with CBS Sports and CBS Sports Emmy-winning Senior Creative Director Pete Radovich.

“Christian Pulisic is the most high-profile men’s player to ever come out of America, but very little is known about his personal life,” said Radovich. “We’re thrilled to be working with Christian to tell his life story, show the world who he really is, and highlight the tremendous impact he’s had on American soccer leading into the most demanding moments of his career.”

Tuning in remotely from his hometown of Hershey, PA, Christian Pulisic joined the CBS Sports Golazo team live from Wembley Stadium on Saturday for the Champions League Final. He was there in part to chat about his upcoming docuseries.

“I think you’re probably right about that,” Pulisic said, regarding him being a bit more reserved about his personal life. “As soon as Pete Radovich reached out to me, and just seeing all the work that Paramount and CBS have been doing, I think it’s the perfect opportunity for me to kind of show people a little bit of what it’s like being an American out in Europe, the struggles I go through, all these things. For me, I think it’s a great time leading up to the World Cup in the U.S. So, I’m just really excited about it.”

What will we learn about Pulisic that we might not know about him through the docuseries?

“I think it’s like you said, I’ve been pretty private in most of my life,” he added. “I think people are gonna see a lot of just the difficulties that I go through living in Europe, being American out there and just going about my career and the pressures of being a soccer player in America. I think there’s a lot of things, but it’s gonna be interesting.”
