Kaylyn Kyle lands new role with beIN Sports after MLS exit

It didn’t take long for Kaylyn Kyle to find her next chapter.

Less than two weeks after announcing her departure from MLS on Apple TV — with her final appearance coming on Aug. 19 — Kyle is heading to beIN Sports, according to The Athletic. The Qatar-based network is bringing the former Canadian soccer star in as its new lead presenter for English-language soccer coverage, stepping into the role vacated by Richard Keys, who left beIN at the end of the 2025-26 season.

Kyle previously worked for beIN on its English-language coverage of the Qatar men’s World Cup in 2022, per the New York Times-owned outlet. She is expected to make her debut in the new role this Saturday, presenting beIN’s coverage of Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest, before settling into a regular rotation on the network’s Premier League and Champions League coverage across the Middle East and North Africa.

Earlier this month, she stated in an Instagram post that she was leaving MLS for a new opportunity after four years as an analyst on the league’s Apple TV broadcasts.

“The Hardest Goodbye. Four years ago, I started a new chapter with Major League Soccer and Apple TV, never knowing just how deeply it would shape me, challenge me, and quietly change my life in all the best ways. I’m incredibly proud of what we created, the memories we made, and the opportunities this job gave me. But the hardest part of leaving isn’t the job—it’s the people,” Kyle wrote in an Instagram post.

She also shared, “I’m so excited for this next chapter, but walking away from the people who made these four years so full of love is incredibly hard. I’m leaving the job, but I’m carrying my 5 best friends, every memory, and all the love with me.”

Kyle had 101 caps for Canada from 2007 to 2018, winning a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics and playing for several NWSL clubs. She then transitioned into the media world, first with TSN in Canada and then with Inter Miami as a sideline reporter, before joining MLS in 2023. During the 2026 FIFA World Cup, she worked for Fox Sports as a host of the network’s digital coverage alongside several other soccer stars from across America and around the globe.
