On Thursday, Fox Sports announced its lineup of broadcasters for the two soccer tournaments it will air this summer: CONMEBOL Copa America 2024 and UEFA Euro 2024.
Copa America takes place across the United States, while Euro will be played in Germany. The Copa America runs from June 20 to July 14, while Euros starts a week earlier (June 14) and ends July 14.
Fox’s de facto top soccer broadcast team, John Strong and Stu Holden, will call the Copa America, including every United States match. They’ll be joined in calling the tournament by the pairings of JP Dellacamera, Cobi Jones, Luis Omar Tapia and Maurice Edu.
In Germany, Ian Darke and Landon Donovan will be the top team. Derek Rae will team up with Rob Green, Jacqui Oatley and Warren Barton will work together, and Darren Fletcher and Owen Hargreaves will also call matches. Fox’s release specifically mentions that all Euro matches will be called on-site.
Dr. Joe Machnik and Mark Clattenburg will serve as rules analysts for both tournaments.
Besides Euro lead host Jules Breach, Fox has yet to announce studio talent for either tournament.
The schedules for both tournaments were announced in March. 78 matches will take place across both Euro and Copa America, with 36 airing on Fox, 39 on FS1, and three on FS2.
