The Philadelphia Eagles’ 34-24 victory over the Washington Redskins on the Oct. 23 edition of ESPN’s Monday Night Football was the week’s top prime time telecast in the Philadelphia market, drawing a combined 1.385 million viewers; 736,000 viewers on ESPN, 649,000 on independent station WPHL. (The local WPHL pregame telecast ranked 11th with 296,000 viewers.)

The game outdrew the likes of “Sunday Night Foitball: Steelers at Lions” on NBC (463,000 viewers; 3rd), “NCIS” on CBS (318,000 viewers; 7th), “This Is Us” on NBC (312,000 viewers; 8th)

As for the Astros-Dodgers World Series on Fox within the Philadelphia market, its highest ranking was No. 10 for Game 4 from Oct. 28 (290,000 viewers).

The Oct. 23 MNF also drew 716,000 viewers in the Washington D.C. market (363,000 viewers on ESPN, 353,000 on ABC affiliate WJLA), which ranked second for the week behind the Redskins’ 33-19 loss to the Cowboys on Oct. 29 on Fox affiliate WTTG (1.1 million viewers.)
