Matt Jones will remain as one of Kentucky’s most prominent radio voices.
Jones recently signed a contract extension that will keep the popular radio host on ESPN Radio’s airwaves. On Monday evening, he confirmed the news with a post on X, the website formerly known as Twitter. Jones indicated that his show with fellow college basketball voice Myron Medcalf will continue as a result of that newly signed extension.
“I just signed another deal today, which means Myron Medcalf and I will enter our seventh year together on ESPN Radio this Fall,” Jones said.
He then expressed gratitude to the network and the show’s listeners.
“Very fortunate for the opportunity. I love doing the show, ESPN has allowed us to do our thing, and Myron has become a very good friend. Perfect combination,” he said.
