Terry Bradshaw is a Taylor Swift lip sync truther

While the world remains captivated by Taylor Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce, Terry Bradshaw may have just revealed himself as a Taylor Swift truther.

Bradshaw joined The Herd with Colin Cowherd Monday afternoon on FS1 and during the interview, they broached the topic of Kelce’s improved performance on the field when Swift is in the stands. Although Bradshaw earns most of his Fox salary by analyzing football, Cowherd asked the Pro Football Hall of Famer and country singer to explain how it’s possible that Swift sings for three hours at her concert.

The safe answer is that she’s an amazing talent. But the often-brash Bradshaw prefers to give the analysis he wants you to hear, and not necessarily the analysis want to hear.

“Maybe you don’t,” Bradshaw said. “You cannot run around a stage and sing live [for three hours]. Nobody will probably admit that, but I do a show in Branson, I do 20 shows at the Clay Cooper Theater and if I walk once all the way to the right side of the stage, I have to take a break.”

Welcome to the 2023 NFL season, where Terry Bradshaw comparing himself to Taylor Swift is not a shock. And while we’re glad Bradshaw is healthy after revealing a bout with cancer last year, no one would argue against Swift being in better physical shape than the 75-year-old former quarterback who does 20 shows in a 1,2000-seat venue.

“The only person I’ve ever seen that can really do that was Freddie Mercury of Queen,” Bradshaw added. “He would run everywhere, all live back then. Phenomenal breath control. And I’m sure Taylor and a lot of these really choreographed shows, a lot of that, they’re singing live to tape, so the tapes going on and they’re singing and if something happens to the tape, then boom. I’m just guessing.”

There is a lot of scuttlebutt on the internet about whether Swift ever lip-syncs, with some definitively saying, ‘no, never,’ while others, like Bradshaw, assume the pop star uses a backing track. But for those diehard Swifties who vehemently defend Swift against allegations of lip-syncing, they’re not going to be happy with Bradshaw. Remember when Stephen A. Smith had to apologize for innocuously saying he likes Beyoncé more than Rihanna? Dedicated music fans are often safeguards for their heroes.
