35. Swimmer Natalie Coughlin (Season 9, 10th Place)

Coughlin looked the part and has some decent moves, but lacked the oomph needed to move on.

34. NBA player Clyde Drexler (Season 4, 8th Place)

Bless Clyde, he did his best. Just a little too much Dad-dancing to really make a run.

33. NFL player Michael Irvin (Season 9, 7th Place)

Irvin made it far, considering this was a 16-contestant season. But the truth is, he was pretty bad. He did his best to compensate for a lack of rhythm with wacky faces and poses, but that only worked for so long. Irvin actually had the lowest overall score in five of his seven performances. Ironically, he didn’t have the lowest score the week he went home.

32. Boxer Floyd Mayweather (Season 12, 9th Place)

Mayweather had the good footwork (as you’d imagine) but sometimes it was all footwork, not enough form and function.

31. Volleyball player Misty May-Treanor (Season 7, 10th Place)

Misty was actually getting decent scores and might have gone further, but a ruptured Achilles cut short her quest early on.

30. NASCAR driver Michael Waltrip (Season 19, 7th Place)

It’s kinda surprising Waltrip lasted as long as he did. He received the lowest overall score four times before actually being eliminated. But he’s just so damn likable.

29. NFL player Lawrence Taylor (Season 8, 7th Place)

The famous linebacker just wasn’t able to get out of his own way and while he was never the worst dancer until the week he went home, he was always closer to the bottom than he was to the top.

28. Boxer Victor Ortiz (Season 16, 8th Place)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4mdaKJ1xCw

Victor was one of those dancers who was decent enough to survive the initial rounds, but not quite good enough to last once all of the bad dancers were gone.

27. Snowboarder Louie Vito (Season 9, 8th Place)

Vito brought a lot of athleticism to his dancing and legitimately tried to get better. He just simply got to a point where there were better dancers than him in the competition.

26. Professional wrestler Chris Jericho (Season 12, 7th Place)

The ringworker held his own on the dance floor, inasmuch as his beefiness allowed him to. For a few brief weeks, Jericho looked like a contender for the trophy, but the tango was his undoing.

25. NBA player Rick Fox (Season 11, 6th Place)

Fox started slow as he needed time to warm up on the dance floor. When he ditched a super-serious demeanor for a fun quickstep, he actually shot up the leaderboard. However, he shot back down the board just as quickly.
