Tony Gonzalez will soon resume his analyst duties on Amazon Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football broadcasts, but the Pro Football Hall of Fame tight end just picked up another gig.
It has absolutely nothing to do with football.
On Tuesday, iHeartMedia and SMAC Productions announced No Safe Words with October and Tony Gonzalez, a weekly podcast launching on iHeart’s My Cultura network, dedicated to elevating Latino voices and stories, according to an official release.
“We want you to join us on our new podcast, No Safe Words with October and Tony Gonzalez, where we get real about marriage, parenthood, sex, divorce, and all the nitty-gritty stuff we all think about but just don’t say out loud,” October Gonzalez says in the official audio trailer.
“Now, we aren’t licensed therapists, but we are certified in ‘been through some stuff,’ Tony Gonzalez adds. “In each episode, we’ll share the real-life ups and downs we’ve experienced together.”
The married couple go on to disclose that No Safe Words will feature guests, billed as “some of our well-known friends,” for “raw, unfiltered conversations” about love, conflict, and growth in the modern world.

“Relationships aren’t something you just get lucky with,” the Gonzalezes said in a statement. “They’re actively built through constant hard work every single day with your partner, across all areas. “In our time together, we’ve seen it all. Big life transitions, having kids and combining families, weathering media attention, and more.
“A lot of couples don’t talk about these things because they’re afraid, but we’ve learned that being completely honest with each other actually makes things so much easier. We don’t have all the answers, though, and we’re still learning new things about communication every day. We’re looking forward to learning right alongside our listeners about different ways we can communicate deeper and grow together no matter what stage we’re at.”

No Safe Words premieres next Tuesday, Sept. 1, with subsequent episodes available every Tuesday on the iHeartRadio app or wherever listeners get their podcasts.
