Former NY Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez Syndication: The Record

Fox Sports is launching a new show for its digital platforms, and the name is punny.

Per Ryan Glasspiegel and Mike McCarthy of Front Office Sports, former New York Jets quarterback and current Fox NFL analyst Mark Sanchez, purveyor of the “Butt Fumble,” is launching a new show on Fox Sports Digital called RearView. The show will release every Tuesday night and has already released its first episode, which featured Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert as the first guest. A promotional tweet from Fox describes the show as “weekly interviews with your favorite players, straight from their cars.”

Sanchez currently serves as a game analyst for Fox alongside play-by-play announcer Adam Amin and sideline reporter Kristina Pink. The crew called the Tennessee Titans-Denver Broncos game in Week 1. He’s served as a game analyst for Fox since 2021.

The former quarterback also makes frequent appearances on Fox’s flagship daytime show, The Herd, where he analyzes the league alongside host Colin Cowherd.

It seems Fox is making a concerted effort to bolster its digital presence. The network launched its direct-to-consumer streaming service, Fox One, last month, but the streamer is primarily geared to offer the live programming on Fox-owned networks. There isn’t a ton of non-linear on-demand content that can be housed on the app yet, and perhaps RearView can start to fill that void.
