The wait for Daniel Jeremiah’s next podcast is over.
According to Front Office Sports, Jeremiah is launching a new show jointly with ESPN and Omaha Productions, called Move the Sticks with Daniel Jeremiah.
“I’ve fallen in love with podcasting over the last decade. It has become one of my favorite parts of this job,” Jeremiah said in a statement. “I couldn’t be more excited to join forces with Peyton and Eli at Omaha Productions. They’ve proven you can take football seriously and still have a blast doing it; that’s always been my goal with Move the Sticks. I’m passionate about roster building, player evaluation, and leadership. This show will dive into all three. I can’t wait to get started!”
Unlike the original Move the Sticks, which paired Jeremiah with fellow scout-turned-analyst Bucky Brooks for more than a decade and over 1,000 episodes, this version has Jeremiah hosting solo, with coaches, GMs, and analysts rotating through as guests.
The old Move the Sticks feed, meanwhile, took a much weirder turn. In August, two AI-sounding episodes appeared on the dormant feed previewing the NFC East and NFC West, despite the show not having posted anything since June and despite Jeremiah publicly stating he was no longer affiliated with it. Fans immediately suspected AI generation, given the flat delivery and a stinger claiming the show was “guaranteed human.” The NFL told Front Office Sports the episodes were actually a compilation of existing team previews from its YouTube page, voiced by a longtime NFL Films narrator known online as “Game Preview Guy,” and not AI-generated.
The new show launches Thursday, Sept. 3, airing three times a week through May and covering college football, the NFL, and the NFL Draft, of course.
