Back in 2023, former NFL defensive end Chris Long launched the full-service production company and content studio Yote House Media to build on the success of his Green Light podcast. That production company will now be behind an interesting NFL-and-beyond podcast from David Vobora, who was “Mr. Irrelevant” in the 2008 NFL Draft but went on to spend four seasons in the league with the St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks.

Here’s more on that new podcast, Life After, from a release:

Yote House Media, the full-service production company and content studio founded by 2x Super Bowl champion, Chris Long, today announced a new weekly podcast “Life After” — hosted by retired NFL linebacker turned human performance expert, David Vobora.

After playing professional football, overcoming addiction, working with Wounded Warriors, and creating the Adaptive Training Foundation, David knows that life-altering events come in many ways, but they always come. On the new series, former “Mr. Irrelevant” in the NFL Draft, Vobora, talks with guests about overcoming adversity in the face of unimaginable circumstances. David identifies crucial—and sometimes tragic—moments in their life that helped shape both their success and who they are today.

“Join me and my extraordinary guests as we explore stories that spark courage, offer inspiration, and shift perspectives,” said Vobora. “It’s an honor to hear from professional athletes, entertainers, elite military operators, and everyday people who have faced incredible challenges — discovering their best selves not despite, but because of life-changing experiences.”

“Life After” hears from guests like The D.O.C. (rap legend), Nastia Liukin (Olympic gymnast), Will Chesney (Navy SEAL who was on the raid that ended with the killing of Osama bin Laden), Flo Groberg (Congressional Medal of Honor recipient), among others.
