We are well into the second half of the 2026 Major League Baseball season, but before we find out which teams will be sacrificed to the Los Angeles Dodgers en route to the World Series championship, you have the chance to determine the champions of MLB’s local TV announcing world.
We want your perspectives on how the various local TV broadcast booths shape up this season. As with all of our rankings, including last year’s local MLB announcer grades, the bottom of this post includes a voting form (also available here). The form includes each MLB team, along with their local TV play-by-play voices, analysts, and sideline reporters (all due respect to the studio broadcasters; there was only so much room).
You will be asked to grade each team’s broadcast setup individually on a scale from A to F. A is the best grade, and F is the worst. You will also see room to provide comments about each broadcasting team. These are optional, but may be useful to us as we attempt to parse out similar grades and understand what makes a booth work (or not work, as it were).
The voting form is below (and here). It will be open through 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on Friday, August 14. The full rankings will be announced at Awful Announcing later next week.
